Homemade Oat Milk

4 Ingredients
- 1 literwater
- 100 gfine oats
- 2dates or maple syrup (to taste)
- A pinchsalt
Equipment
- Blender
- Nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer
- Large bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons
Preparation

Prep Ingredients
Measure out all ingredients. -
Blend
Add the water, oats, dates or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Secure the lid. -
Blend on High
Turn the blender on the highest setting and blend for 1 minute. The mixture should look creamy and well combined. -
Strain the Milk
Place the nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the oat mixture into the bag or strainer. -
Squeeze Out the Milk
Gently squeeze the nut milk bag or press the mixture through the strainer with a spatula to extract as much liquid as possible. -
Store
Transfer the oat milk to a bottle or jar. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before each use.
